I even started the analytics department from scratch.

BUT at one point they de-promoted my title from scientist to an analyst.

I didn’t even know that was possible?!

Their justification as a big corporate company: “This is just how the ladder goes”.

It felt like a HUGE blow.

So I decided to take my life into my own hands.

I bought a $1,997 blogging course and self-learned SEO, keyword research, and content creation.

My aim was to create my own website with a blog and start making passive income through it.

The course taught cold emailing bigger sites and asked to write a free guest post to get a backlink to your site.

But the most unexpected thing started happening…

The companies I was reaching out to started asking to pay me for my services (backlinks and writing blog posts).

What?! Getting paid without ever having to step into a job interview… I’ll take it!

So I saw that I could start making some money.

And I decided to take the leap and quit my full-time job.

THEN this happened…

The pharma company was persistent about getting me to stay.

They even gave me an enormous pay rise and a fancier new title as Data Scientist II.

It was too enticing. I decided to stay.

THEN this happened…

An old mentor of mine that I interned for called me out of the blue and asked me to work at his AI startup as the VP of Engineering.

Of course, I jumped on that opportunity.

And quit my big pharma job twice in 2 weeks. Oops.

THEN this happened…

A couple of months fast forward.

I was still running my side hustle and clients were asking to give me money left and right.

I eventually got too busy and even got asked to join a mastermind as a mentor who teaches aspiring entrepreneurs ways to make money online.

In September 2023. I was working 3 jobs (VP of engineering, coach, and what was now an SEO agency)

I had to make a choice.

Should I run my business full-time?

I decided to take the leap.

Even more CRAZY.

At the same time, I decided to move on from the engineering and tech industry, I moved out of my city studio and started traveling the world FULL TIME.

I’ve been to 7 countries in the last 7 months.

I create my own hours.

And get to provide value to the AI space in a different way (helping them grow without the company spending a dime on paid ads).

THEN this happened…

Just kidding!

This is where I am now (in Asia to be exact).

I get to grow a business and mentor other aspiring entrepreneurs to build the business I built.
